AFFIRMATION
In response to God's creative, redeeming, and sustaining grace, we affirm:
Every person is precious, a unique combination of hopes and hurts, fulfillment and frustration, dreams and despair.
Every person is encouraged to share each strength and weakness for the spiritual enrichment of all our sisters and brothers in the church and the world.
All that happens in our gathered company is intended to enhance our listening, caring, and serving, wherever we live, work, plan and play.
We worship and work, not for our own goals and glory, but for the expansion of God's love, mercy and justice. In God, as experienced through Jesus Christ, we find our life, our purpose, our fulfillment.
